JUNIOR RAMS YOUTH REFEREES
Our Junior Rams games are officiated by members of the New Canaan FC community. This is a great opportunity for young players to develop leadership skills, gain refereeing experience, and give back to the club. Referees should be at least 11 years of age and commit to at least one hour per Saturday.

Please ensure your reimbursement form is completed accurately to avoid payment delays.
TRAVEL SOCCER REFEREES
Join the New Canaan FC referee team! We are always looking for adult and youth referees to officiate Travel Program matches.
For adults, refereeing is a great way to stay involved in the game and support our soccer community. For youth, it's a flexible part-time opportunity that offers competitive pay, valuable leadership experience, and an impressive addition to college or job applications. Please note that youth referees must be at least 13 years old at the time of registration.
How to Become a Certified Referee:
Travel referee certification is administered by the Connecticut State Referee Program, not New Canaan FC.
The certification process includes:
- A 2–3 hour online Grassroots Referee Course
- A half-day, on-field training session after completing the online modules
To register for certification, visit www.ctreferee.net and enroll in the Grassroots Referee Course.
For questions about certification, contact info@ctreferee.net.
