This is our second year hosting the end of season New Canaan FC event following overwhelmingly positive feedback last year at an enjoyable evening for the attendees.
For those of you did not attend last year, this is a night of dinner, dancing, recognitions and awards for players, coaches, etc. Our players all sit with their team to send the season in style. There's food, music and even a season slideshow!
The New Canaan FC Board would again like to thank all of our members for being part of the program this Fall 2019 season. As we move into the winter season, we are pleased to offer a wide range of practice options for your players this Winter.
The winter months offer additional opportunities to focus on technical development of all players.
Our Technical Director and St Luke’s Varsity Coach Dan Clarke stressed the importance of continuing soccer engagement:
‘We encourage all players to participate in one of our winter programs to continue their ongoing development. We feel it is important to do something during the 'off-season' so are players are ready to go again in the spring. All our programs provide a wonderful opportunity to get touches on the ball and to play soccer in a different environment. The fast-paced nature of Futsal and indoor soccer can really benefit a player's technical skills and speed of play.‘

Why Register?Research indicates that individual’s playing Futsal receive the ball six times more often than they would do when they are playing 11-a-side football, allowing players to perform more individual techniques such as passes, controls, fakes, feints, dribbles and runs with the ball.
